Alison Bonn is a vertical microdrama screenwriter and co-host of VertiGals. Her debut series, Love Score, premiered on MyDrama in January 2026, where it quickly became one of the platform's top-performing titles. Since then, she’s written other hit series for Fox/MyDrama including The Billionaire Garbageman and Saddled to My Nemesis, with additional series currently in production.
Along with vertical writer Natalie Gergely, Alison co-hosts VertiGals, a podcast dedicated to the craft of writing vertical microdramas. Together, they've interviewed some of the biggest names shaping the format. The podcast is available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
In addition to verticals, Alison writes female-driven comedy features and true-story adaptations. Her work has been recognized by the Austin Film Festival (Semifinalist), PAGE Screenwriting Competition (Semifinalist), The Women’s Lab (Semifinalist), and the Nicholl Fellowship (Quarterfinalist).
Over the years, Alison has worn many eclectic career hats—from kindergarten substitute teacher to dirty stand-up comedian. She is an experienced hunter/jumper equestrian and lives in Los Angeles, where she’s raising one kid, one dog, and one husband.
